Amazon Basics USB Extension

If you’re not already aware, I love Amazon Prime. It’s something I’ve been using steadily for about two years now. I order from Amazon very frequently so the same-day and free 2-Day shipping is absolutely amazing to have when I’m in a pinch and need something. As a field rep I tend to complete surveys and deals via Swagbucks in exchange for free Amazon Gift Cards. If you haven’t already go take a look at my article on Generating 100 Daily Swagbucks and Advantages of Amazon Prime. I’ve not only saved money but have GENERATED returns! For example I’ll cash out on $100 worth

I’m writing the review of this Amazon Basics USB Extension cable as a perfect example of utilizing my Prime benefits.

As a web developer I also help local businesses market their flyers and advertisements across various platforms so I’m constantly scanning images to my laptop. The problem is I brought in a new desk to my home office and rearranged everything. The printer ended up no longer sitting on my desk and I would have to step over or duck under the USB cable each time I connected it to my laptop – I quickly got over this nonsense and placed my order for the USB extension.

I paid only $6.49 + $5.99 Same-Day Delivery /w Prime so my total came to $12.48 for a 9.8 foot USB Extension Cable delivered to my door about 8 hours later. Best Buy offers a 6 foot USB Extension cable for $24.99. Half the price + at-home delivery? Seriously, why are you not an Amazon Prime customer?

Don’t forget: Amazon Prime has 2 membership options: $10.99/mo or $99/yr!

Amazon Prime – Free 30 Day Trial

By now you’ve probably heard of the program Amazon Offers – Amazon Prime. On the surface it feels like Amazon is just trying to collect additional revenue, but there’s actually much much more to it than that. If you’re a frequent online shopper this is a program I highly recommend taking advantage of. Up next I’m going to briefly explain the benefits and practical uses of your Amazon Prime Membership so you can utilize it to its’ fullest potential.

A great aspect to this program is you can receive a Free 30 Day Amazon Prime Trial, a great way for you to test drive the service and see if it’s truly for you – especially before purchasing the annual membership.

Shipping
One of the first things Amazon did when introducing Prime was allowing you to purchase items from their warehouses which would offerFree Two-Day Delivery. On top of this you had the option with most items that were Prime eligible to be shipped overnight for only $3.99 extra. This alone can save you hundreds of dollars a year (or a month if you’re like me) which pays for itself after the first or second order.

Amazon has been working hard since the birth of Prime to make the service bigger and better. Now as a Prime Member there are many items out there which allow same delivery if purchased early enough in the day. I have tested the Same-Day Prime service twice,  my first order was a single FireTV Stick which arrived at about 6:30PM (ordered at 11:30AM) and the second order was for two FireTVs which was purchased the night before and arrived just before 9 A.M – it had actually left the seller facility at 2:24 A.M. Not bad!

Pantry
This is actually a pretty amazing service. For one flat rate of $5.99 you’re able to fill up a box with a huge selection of food items. Many of the items are close to wholesale. If you know you’re in need of a particular item you can toss it in your cart and have it shipped to your door. This is an excellent way to save money on many food, pet, and household items. I’ve personally tested the service by ordering a 12 Pack of 16 Ounce cans of Surge! and a box of Slim Jims. And yes, the soda tastes exactly like it used to! Thank you Amazon for making this happen!
If you remember the soda back in the day then this is a must have when you start your free trial!

Music
An often overlooked advantage to Amazon Prime is its’ music service. At first there wasn’t much of a selection but they have made some massive overhauls to their selections. There are many pre-made playlists at your disposal or you can create your own. The service allows unlimited ad-free streaming with over a million songs – including offline playback.

Below you will find a list of all the other advantages of Amazon Prime. As you can tell many of these services, depending upon usage, will allow your membership to pay for itself!
